Placement Process

We aim to ensure that you have all of the information required to make an informed decision about teaching in a school in the UK. 

We will endeavor to do the following:

• Contact you about the position available – location, subject, contract length
• Email you a link to the school's website; and
• A link to the schools Ofsted report
• Links to the area where the school is located

We do ask that you look through all of the information available and let us know ASAP if you would like to go forward for the position. Remember the choice is yours. If you feel that the school will not be a good fit for you please let us know. Below are six easy steps to get you started!

Step 1.

Contact an experienced Teacher/ Career Manager by registering online, or emailing teacher@visionforeducation.com.au or by calling the overseas office on +61 2 66 86 85 88 or Free Call 1800 230 488 from anywhere in Australia.

Step 2.

You will be provided with a clear understanding of the whole process of apply to teach in the UK of being legally able to teach in a UK school. Your Career Manager will advise you of the documentation required and mentor you through the interview process.

Step 3.

Your Career Manager will record a short filmed interview that can be sent to UK schools that you would like to be put forward for. You will then be able to select from a range of vacancies or alternatively sign up for our Guaranteed Payment Scheme.

Step 4.

Experience phone or face to face Interviews with UK Headteachers or arrange to meet with your UK Career Manager after your arrival in England.

Step 5.

Finalise your visa requirements and gain advice on everything to do with traveling and working in England.

Step 6.

Arrive in the UK, and get picked up from the airport by your UK Career Manager and get ready to start the adventure of a lifetime!
